Human body produces a standard amount of heat, which increases according to the activity.(naturalfrequency, n.d.)
Metabolic heat production is produced mainly by:
1] basal metabolism (biological processes) - continuous and non-conscious
2] muscular metabolism (carrying out work) - consciously controllable (Auliciems A. et al, 2007)
1] basal metabolism (biological processes) - continuous and non-conscious

If the heat produced by metabolism does not transfered to the environment, then the body temperature will be increased.
Under comfort conditions: Deep body temperature is 37°C and Skin temperature varies between 31-34°C. (variations occur depending on clothing and blod circulation). (Auliciems A. et al, 2007)
